Icon: Create a stylized silhouette of a silverback gorilla's head or face. Ensure the silhouette is bold and easily recognizable. You can make it more distinct by focusing on the gorilla's prominent features like the eyes and strong jawline.
Color Palette
The first usage of AI help was to find out a good color palette. It was also good that we were starting from scratch and prefered a dark vibe.
- Black: Black is a classic color that exudes sophistication, elegance, and mystery. It can be used as the primary color to create a strong visual impact and convey a sense of authority.
- Deep Red: Deep shades of red, such as burgundy or crimson, can add intensity and excitement to the branding. Red is often associated with passion, energy, and action, making it suitable for a gaming channel.
- Metallic Silver: Incorporating silver or shades of gray can enhance the "silverback" theme and give a sleek and modern look. It can represent technology, innovation, and a futuristic vibe.
- Electric Blue: Vibrant shades of blue, such as electric blue or navy blue, can be used as accent colors to provide contrast and visual interest. Blue signifies trust, stability, and intelligence, which can resonate well with gaming enthusiasts.
Channel Logo
The old logo was just the letters 'SB' inside an orange circle. This time when we asked AI for a logo suggestion, it came back with a simplified description.
But this being a Youtube Channel, we went all in and used AI Image generation to create "A silverback gorilla wearing a space suit, holding a game controller with a concentrated expression". Included the main colors from the earlier step to add a touch of accent.
Typography
A bold and sleek font was discovered to be used as the main font as per suggestion from AI.
Typography: Choose a bold and sleek font for the channel name "Silverback Gaming" that complements the icon. Consider using capital letters to give it a strong and impactful look. Experiment with different font styles to find the one that matches the overall theme and feel of the logo.
